What is a IUD?

Working with the team at the NHS to create an informative explainer animation to inform their audience about the different types of IUDs or a “coil”.

Both types of coil work slightly differently. We needed to distinguish the key differences as clearly as possible. While they work differently, they are both safe to use while breastfeeding.

Throughout the process, we discussed with the medical team the best way to deliver a message that was easy to understand and medically correct. It was essential to encourage people to talk with their midwife, doctor, or healthcare professional about contraception options.
